24nannies offers the following services:

 

  • Nanny at home: this nanny comes to your home to babysit on a fixed or flexible basis.
  • Vacation nanny: this nanny travels with you to your vacation destination and helps you run the household during the vacations.
  • Wedding nanny: a nanny who looks after the children during your wedding and who can play games with them.
  • Hotel babysitter: a babysitter who will come and look after your children in your hotel, when you are traveling in the Netherlands.
  • Staff at business events: event staff provide a very nice event for the children. This could be for example a congress, trade show, conference, company party or other corporate event.
  • Nanny at productions: a nanny who accompanies the children during a television, film or photo shoot.
  • Nanny on Ibiza: also on Ibiza 24nannies provides nanny services. This can be at home, but also during your vacation or wedding.

What requirements does 24nannies set for employees?

Our nannies are extensively screened. Among other things, we look at:

The nannies are invited for an interview by one of our Nanny Scouts and are extensively screened based on the supplied information. If the nanny passes the screening and we think she fits the profiles of our clients, the nanny will be added to our network.

How does 24nannies operate?

After placing your request, our staff will contact you personally to discuss the details and provide a customized quote. Next, 24nannies searches for employees suitable for the job based on all the criteria discussed with the client. The client does not agree to the booking until all the proposed profiles have been approved by the client. Some form of introduction to the selected employee is always possible, if the client wishes.

How do I become a vacation nanny?

To become a vacation nanny, you must first of all have a lot of experience as a vacation nanny. If you have enough experience and apply, you will be extensively screened. Among other things you need a Certificate of Good Conduct and you must be able to provide at least two references. Flexibility, travel experience and a driving license are minimum requirements.

How old do I have to be to become a nanny?

Minimum 18 years old, also babysitting experience is very important.
At least 2 years of babysitting experience where you have babysat regularly is definitely required.

Will I get a contract if I work with you as a nanny?

As a nanny, you can work in a number of ways.

Through 24nannies, where you get paid through 24nannies. This applies to some occasional babysitting services. In this case you work under the Regulation Service at Home.
Through the client, where you are paid directly from the client. In this case, you get a contract from the family in some cases.

What does the home service scheme entail?

What is the difference between arrangement service to the home and being employed by a family?

Working through the RDVAH is on a private basis.

Working on contract makes you a salaried employee with the client.

Both options are available within 24nannies, this information is provided with the job description.

I can really only babysit in the evenings and on weekends. Can I come to you for that as well?

Is a first aid certificate required?

No, this is not mandatory. However, it is a many cases that it is required to obtain a first aid diploma when you apply for a particular job.

So it is definitely advisable to get a Children’s First Aid certificate.

Are references required?

Yes, we need at least 2 contacts for reference.
These are individuals you have worked with in the past for longer periods of time.

Please note, these should be extremely working relationships.

What is a VOG? Can I apply for it through 24nannies?

A VOG is a Certificate of Good Conduct.

This is a document that verifies your reliability. 24nannies will request this for you as soon as you are screened.

Are you already in possession of a relevant VOG? Send it in. We then check whether this VOG is valid to start working for our clients.

For families

Yes. Before the babysitting job begins, you will receive and approve all relevant information regarding the nanny. If there is enough time, it is also possible to meet the nanny or have a telephone conversation. Only after providing the information and/or a meeting will the nanny be scheduled.

So as a parent, you always have insight into the nanny’s profile before you approve them to come babysit. Should there be any doubts or questions, you can always consult our planners for advice or additional information.

How does booking a nanny work?

To book a nanny, simply fill out our online request form with your requirements such as date, time and location. We will then match you with an available and suitable nanny from our team. You will receive a confirmation once the nanny is booked.

Are all the nannies screened?

Yes, all of our nannies are carefully screened. This includes checking and calling references, relevant experience and providing a Certificate of Good Conduct.

Is there a minimum booking period?

Yes, the minimum booking time is 3 hours at a time. This ensures that the nanny has enough time to make a valuable contribution.

Can you arrange for a nanny last-minute?

Yes, we offer a last-minute service, subject to availability. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible in case of emergency.

Can you babysit during events or weddings?

Absolutely! We have experienced nannies who can help during weddings, parties and other events. We provide professional entertainment and care for the children.
